[…] Really? I don't think I have ever come across A4-sheets with tolerances of a full mm. Can't imagine the standard would allow for such signifcant variance, but can't say I read it 🙂 Are there any paper products in particular where you experience this? Thanks!

You got this to work well? I tried it a few years ago, before buying a Wacom Cintiq 16, and it was pretty much an unusable setup. The lag was the biggest issue But if it works well now, that would be interesting. Are you using Sidecar wirelessly? (I think that's the only way it works, but I don't know...)

Not an artist but questions.

I'm late to this party, but what I'd do is use the Clone Brush on a new pixel layer to fill in the line. Bear in mind that I don't use vectors ever (and I am an artist). So you create a new pixel layer, choose the Clone Brush (K), in this case you want the brush hardness to be 100%, and the default Current Layer and Below is what you'd want here (and in most cases).

The fonts used in the UI cannot be changed. To ensure that the UI is displayed correctly, the fonts used are stored in a specific directory. Deleting these fonts would render Affinity unusable.

I'm not sure it can be changed, but there are some controls over the text size, brightness, contrast, etc, in Affinity > Settings > User Interface. If you can change the font, someone else will need to provide the answer. Also, if you Right-Click the upper left hand corner where the vertical and horizontal rulers intersect, you can choose the units (pixels, inches, cm, etc)

Update: I was trying the text tool and if I select Arial regular, the font is changed automatically to "Jungle", which is the font shown by the interface. Any other font (for example, Verdana regular) is applied correctly. Guess I've found a bug?

Good day everyone, I've just started to use Affinity and I'm trying to figure my way around the program. I have a lot of questions, but for now my biggest trouble is: how can I change the font used in rulers and coordinates for guidelines? It's readable, but I'd really prefer a sans-serif font.

The old Affinity Photo, Designer, and Publisher forum by Serif is now in read-only mode and serves only as an archive. But the exchange among users, shared learning, and creative collaboration are too valuable to disappear. This new Affinity Community was created as a living space for questions, ideas, and inspiration.
