I'm willing to open and play with it right now, but the issues I've encountered make me very reluctant to start using it for serious work until after the next patch. I primarily use the Designer/Vector tools. My avatar is an illustration that I created in Affinity Designer 2, which I purchased a year ago. I will see if I can share a larger image here.

I've heard from a little birdie that this critical bug has beed fixed for the upcoming patch.

How will I check what? You just have to wait and hope that it will be fixed in a future update. Someone may be able to confirm your findings here.

The official Affinity Photo, Designer, and Publisher forum by Serif is now in read-only mode and serves only as an archive. But the exchange among users, shared learning, and creative collaboration are too valuable to disappear. This new Affinity Community was created as a living space for questions, ideas, and inspiration. By registering and taking part, you help build an independent, active platform where Affinity users can continue to connect. Every new discussion, shared project, and comment helps others find useful content and keeps the community alive. At the same time, many are waiting with anticipation for Serif’s announcement “Creative Freedom is coming.” What it will bring is still uncertain – and that makes it all the more important to have a space where these developments can be followed and discussed together.
