Well, I finally got the 'Dreadlocks Dread' font to work on a Mac (with the help - and lots of his time - of Lou (ldina), who is an absolute life-saver.

The Mac versions of 'Black Outline' and 'No Outline' are SVG, which is the only way I could get it to display correctly on a Mac. As you know, the Windows version is fine...

It is my homage to Big Youth, the iconic rap/toaster reggae artist for his iconic album 'Dreadlocks Dread' (1975) and the wonderful single 'Natty No Jester' over Carl Malcolm's 'No Jestering'...

Yes, I have been correcting the errors and re-exporting it and Lou (ldina) has been checking it on his Mac (I don't have a Mac) and each time there are NEW anomalies (so I have been trying to solve them too). Ha-ha! It's a bit of a nightmare. I have decided to create a separate Mac version (SVG font), but weirdly the colour issue persists. I have no idea why... I think we are down to two problem glyphs in which the colours won't show.

Lou has been brilliant, so helpful and patient. I will have a look at it later and send it to him again.

I think you are right. It's a Mac problem. The Windows version is fine...

When I get a working Mac version, I'll update the 1001fonts.com for the files and let you know here.

Capital A and Capital V both lack the green color, in the Dreadlock Black Outline and also in the Dreadlock No Outline. I just now downloaded these from 1001Fonts so they are the latest available on their website.

By the way, it looks like Komatos and I are both using Mac M4 computers, FWIW.

Hmmm. Not sure what is happening here. I wonder if I upload the TTF version as well as the OTF. Might give that a try tomorrow.

Well, I just checked... and I'm not getting that anomaly. All the glyphs seem OK. The cap A is true black and the green is there...

Maybe it's just a glitch in the Affinity 3.2 file.

Try creating a new document and type the cap A in that file (don't copy it from the other file).

Let me know what you get, will you?

I'll fix that and update it.

They are black & white COLR fonts. The colours in the poster have been added in Affinity 3.2. You can change the colours of the font's colour palette in the Character palette in Affinity 3.2.

To Change the Colours Set in a COLR Colour Font in Affinity 3.2

Select the text in your document that has the COLR colour font applied to it.
In Character palette:
Click Default
Change Default to Custom
Then change the colours shown in the dropdown list by clicking on one of the coloured squares.
