Discovered Sophie's Tutorials

  • Guten Morgen Leute,

During my browsing of youtube videos I discovered [Sophie's Tutorials]. 8)

She does well describing solutions step by step. Mac Shortcuts can be translated by PC Users so this is no flaw I guess...

    What do you think?

The big problem with keyboard shortcuts is that Mac users have an extra modifier key available to them, so Windows users like you and me have no choice but to resort to awkward (and sometimes impossible) combinations of keys and mouse buttons.

I like what little I’ve seen of Sophie’s tutorials. 👍

European keyboards like yours and mine do, but a standard US keyboard does not. Alt Gr can sometimes be replaced by Ctrl+Alt, but I think that’s software dependent.

A standard Mac keyboard has a Command (Cmd) key which usually behaves like the Ctrl key on Windows. Macs also have a Control (Ctrl) key, but it doesn’t have a direct counterpart on Windows.

I’ve never known the Windows key to be used for anything other than system functions (e.g. WinKey+R to invoke the ‘Run’ box).
