When exporting a page to as a PNG, SVG or JPEG, there is a transparent checker board space around the image. And there is nothing outside the page boundary selected. How do I resolve this?
Exporting page as PNG, SVG etc leaves space around image.

To avoid extra pixels around the edges of an exported image, you need to make sure that the pixel dimensions (W and H) and the pixel coordinates (X and Y) of the image on the Affinity document canvas/page all have integer values. You might think, as I do, that the position on the page or canvas shouldn’t matter, but it does!

This is a common issue that arises when using Affinity software. The solution is as mentioned above: the pixels are all integer values.

And even worse, if your page has a bleed, even that does matter.
Solution: make sure that your bleed, margin and page size values are set up in integer pixels, not in integer mm or whichever unit you may want to be using in the document.
