I've started learning how to create mandalas. I drew the corners myself. They were flat black, but I modified them to co-ordinate with the background.

There are lots of mandala tutorials on youtube, but this was the one that I used for the mandala on this thread. Other videos create mandalas using symbols. Search youtube and see what works for you.
