Making Layer Non Printable

Hello All,

I miss not being able to set objects or layers as non printable. So I submitted a request to Canva Affinity team for this feature, does anyone else think Affinity should have this?

Serif, the creator of the Affinity apps, was acquired by Canva just over two years ago. Before the company switched to focusing exclusively on Affinity they had a Windows-only DTP product called PagePlus in development for nearly thirty years. Several years before PagePlus was abandoned, they removed the ‘Printable’ toggle from the layer options in the ‘Plus’ applications, replacing it with an ‘if you can see it, it will print’ approach, and that was carried over to the Affinity range. Many longtime users, including me, miss the old way of doing things.

Hi Alfred,

It's been quite a while that I've been using these tools and remember you from those Serif days, glad to see we are all still here, I found Creofora when they launched Affinity 3 and shut down the other Serif form. I'm glad I found this forum.
