Problem with the mask icon Layer

Hello everyone. ( English is not my natural language, I used a translator. )

How to solve in Affinity studio 3, the fact of clicking on the layer mask icon at the bottom of the layer window directly creates a layer mask, I would prefer that the layer mask options are displayed directly when pressing option to have it (the other icons directly display a context menu).

For the Mask icon, right-click instead of clicking.

Thank you, I don't use a mouse, I do trackpad click option, compared to the other icons next to it it doesn't make sense.

The other options cannot work without a menu, as you must make a choice of what adjustment, or what filter to apply, for example. They do not have any defaults.

Masks have a default, which is applied unless you right-click. So you'll need to remember to do that with your trackpad, too.

But you can request a change, using Help > Send Feedback to request one. It doesn't hurt to ask, though there is of course no guarantee they'll implement a change.
