After downloading Affinity Studio on 31 October and installing it on my Windows 11 machine, I was surprised by how fast it launched. This stayed the same over the following days. Today, with version 3.0.3, the startup process takes noticeably longer – by now even longer than Adobe Illustrator, which is not exactly known for fast startup times. I know this because a colleague of mine, who uses Illustrator on his computer, and I sometimes do small startup races, lol. Overall, Affinity Studio now feels a bit less responsive than it did at the beginning.
