The Orton Effect on a snowy day (somewhere)

Having been saved at the last minute from 12 hours of sleet which thankfully turned to rain here in the Sunny South, thoughts turned to parts of the world where Winter has us thoroughly in its grasp. Affinity Photo came to the rescue here on a bitterly cold day. Pixabay provided the original image. smadell provided the Orton Effect, with his elegant macro, which he included with many others that he so kindly shared here in this forum. (I provided the mouse. With luck, I may be given some actual artistic ability next time around, if reincarnation is a reality. Here's hoping.)

For those like me that had a bit of trouble figuring out which of those resources includes the Orton Effect, it is one of the 28 (!!!) macros in the Specialized Looks post at Seth's Resources - Specialized Looks

smadell did not mention using them in V3 but all of them that I tested seem to work well in it.

Also, the Seth's Specialized Looks.pdf file in the Zip is probably the best 'how to use' guide for macros I have ever seen. Bravo!

As R C-R suggested, all of the macros I posted were created in Affinity Photo v2, but all of them work well in Affinity Studio (v3). Also, thanks to R C-R for that compliment about the PDF file. (Now I’ll have to go back and look at it to figure out what I did so right!)
