In layout is there anyway someone can suggest how I can keep notes of what I have done with a document. I can do this when I use Vegas Pro with a note along with the file, also in PagePlusX9 I could leave a sticky non printable note on the document on how I had done something. I know there is the history panel but that does not help if I import something from an internet source etc for future reference. Cheers John

This isn’t something I’m currently able to test, but I imagine that you could style a sidenote so that its colour or opacity renders it invisible.

I have created two master pages ( of two pages each) where I keep resulable snippets of text and graphics. Depending on how many notes you have, this might work for notes as well.
PS: these master pages are never used in my layout.

You can add notes that will only appear in the preflight check:
1. Select the object or layer group you want to comment on
2. Right-click (or Control-click on Mac)
3. Select "Preflight Comment > Set"
4. Type your comment in the dialog box
5. Click OK
The comment will then be visible in the preflight panel and can be reviewed during the document's preflight check.
