I'd like to open a thread where (possible) bugs of V3 can be collected. Serving as an overview and possibly resolvong behaviour that is perceived as a "bug" but maybe isn't since things just need a different approach.

Which version of the NIK tools? I use V6 and got mine running after re-installing them (Win11/Affinity EXE version installed).

PlugIn Integration with the Nik Collection doesn't work. Plug Ins are recognised and opened with the current picture but Nik does not seem to be able to send the edited picture back to Affinity. Since this connection is not established properly Nik crashes when just saving the picture from inside the Nik tools. This works fine in V1 and V2.
I have tested with Nik 7 and 8. Opens fine, but the Nik window is missing the bottom bar where you can Apply or Cancel. The only way to save it is to export it somewhere. It looks like it is opening the wrong version of Nik - opening the standalone rather than the plugin version.

Such a "V3 Bug List" thread appears to be more useful if it simply contains copies of Serif's responses to reported issues (regardless of whether they were bug confirmations or not), and included links to the separate, related discussion threads.
As the previous forum showed, reported issues are often due to user errors or unsuitable workflows – and not to confirmed bugs or Affinity problems "by design."

I agree. Can whoever the forum admin is, add a Bug Report category for the Affinity Studio section and probably another for the Affinity Version 2x section?

Just experienced some critical behaviour.
Working on a combined picture with vector and pixels. Trying to save my work and all save options were grayed out
I closed the document tab. Affinity ask me if I want to save the file and I clicked on "Yes". Program instantly closed and work was lost. No backup file, file not showing in the recently used list.

One crash so far today. This time while I was resizing an Artboard.

I can see me moving back to version two for a while. To be honest V2 caters for my needs. I use NX Studio and DxO Pure Raw too.

Was the document saved before this issue? If so, did V3 show a recovery option when reopening the app (like V1/2)?
Were only the "Save" / "Save As…" commands grayed-out or more items of this menu? (In case of the latter an open dialog window may cause this.)
Workaround (instead of losing all work): export the document before closing the app and open the exported PDF file for further editing. -

Just all "Save" Options.

I'm not working on critical stuff with V3. Since I did not experience this behaviour before I wasn't expecting to loose things. But yes, to be sure an export (I did not check if that was still possible) would be a workaround.

My Wacom tablet no longer applies pressure to Path brushes. They were Vector Brushes in Designer 2, and the Pressure from my pen would vary the width and or opacity of the stroke.
It is to the point where I am glad this is free, no way would I spend money to upgrade to something like this. And this is from someone who is actually excited about the thing.

For some odd reason the default Path Brush value is "None". I've noticed this as well the other day. -

I just submitted feedback. I don't think it's a bug though, rather an omission of sorts.

I discovered a bug and found a bug fix. I reported both via Send Feedback.
The problem was my personal keyboard shortcut for the export function (Shift-Ctrl E), after which the sliders in Develop Studio (Exposure, etc.) no longer displayed numerical values. But not all sliders
Otherwise, I am very pleased with V3.
Edit: version 3.0.1 resolve this problem.
